Wednesday, April 5th, 2006The emerge of monache.com has allowed the people that used to frequent the old hotbar chat room, get together once again, and interact in away that has far surpassed anything we had anticipated. With the availability of audio and video in the userplane chat room, old friends can rediscover each other in a way they never though they once might have.
Being able to hear and see someone, while typing at the same time, has allowed a new dimension to the way we now communicate to each other. The userplane room is not the only thing though. The ability to do as I am now, write a blog for all members and guests to see, also allows for everyone to share their thoughts on most things with their friends, with an immediate allowance.
The addition of the sites instant messaging service, coupled with the free email service, also gives everyone a new avenue to not only connect, but come closer together. I have said it to a few people that this site has gone the extra step in bring some good friends together, and making them great friends. It has enabled us to become a community again. Something that we had all sorely missed and longed for and for that, I have to say thank you to the one guy that has made that all possible, Jody Born.
