Monache Rumors and Innuendo’s

I recently acquired a copy of the latest Blue Collar Comedy Tour, One More For The Road. Now, I know most of you reading this will be familiar with the show and its cast, that being, Bill Engvall (funniest damn guy I heard in a long time), Larry the cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy and Ron White. This particular film was shot in Washington, and funny as hell, if you haven't seen it or got it yet, you should, well worth it. At one point during Ron Whites portion of the show, he gets fairly political, talking about Homeland security and registering sex offenders.

It wasn't so much the registering of them, as it was the identification of them. He believes that all sex offenders should have signs on their door to alert the neighbourhood that the person in this domicile is a convicted sex offender. He doesn't care if it infringes their rights, as he he believes that they have no rights.

 And I agree. 150%

Recently in the state of Western Australia, an 8 year old girl was raped and murdered in a suburban shopping centre. While the offender has been apprehended, and been somewhat categorised as an idiot (in the literal sense), there is no denying that what happened was an out and out tragedy. The young girls brother was the one to find her, lifeless and naked and the floor of a public toilet. No adult, let alone a child, should discover this sort of thing. Going on what Ron White's theroy should be about this, the offender should be forced to live in a house with nothing less than a 50 foot neon billboard above his house, proclaiming his act.

He should be made to get a tattoo. On his wrist. Stating he is an asshole, a sex offender and anyone that bashes his head in with a 2×4 is from from prosecution…..OK…..maybe that's going a bit far, but still, he should have no rights at all. He should have those robbed from him, the same way he robbed an 8 year old girl of her dignity and her life, the way he robbed her family of the life she was planning to lead.

Ozzy Osbourne once said about this subject that "if anyone ever hurt his children in that fashion, I would hang them by their balls." The song "Mr Tinkertrain" is about the subject. 80's Metal band, Twisted Sister also sang about the same subject on their track Horror-Teria (The Beginning). Made up of 2 parts, Captain Howdy & Street Justice, it describes the act of a killer named Captain Howdy, then the subsequent "trail" in which he gets off on the charges and then is attacked by an angry street mob. One of my all time favourite songs, as it is not only as relevant now as it was back then, but it takes you on the journey.

I have always said that if anyone ever hurt my kids in any way, they better make sure they're hard to find and have a high pain threshold, cause if I get my hands on them, I'll make sure they know what it's like to abused. All things said, if it ever did come to pass that this registration and identification of sex offenders, not of just children, ANY victim, ANY age, I would be 100% percent in its favour. 

OK, so I have this topic I wanna discuss, but I know that it will be the cause of great debate……I guess you could say a mass debate. Yes, the topic is sex, or more importantly porn, or more to the point, adult bookshops. Why am I blogging about such a thing, you ask? Well, it's like this……

On walking home from having been down the street yesterday, I walked past one of our towns two adult bookstores. While passing it, I overtook two teenagers, probably in their late teens, who seemed to be discussing the contents of the shop. The male of the two made the comment that it was disgusting, and he could not understand how people could go in there and purchase what they have to sell.

Now, my first impression was that this guy was a total prude, and he may well be, but another part of me was applauding him for his noble stance…..but I soon perished that thought. It occured to me that he was very content on judging the customers of said store, and the sole thought I had then was "My mind may be in the gutter, but it's better than having my head up my ass."

OK, OK so maybe I am being a bit harsh, but, lets face it, the people that work in those stores are not perverts as most would believe they are, yet this couple were content in their belief that this be true. And to be honest, porn is great for Sex Ed, in fact the porn industry was doing reality TV long before it became popular to film people stuck on islands, crammed in a house or singing for a recording contract.

Yes I accept the religous groups objections, and even womens rights objections, but the women in this industry are there because the want to be, and most enjoy fulfilled and rich lives when not on camera. And when people admonish this industry for it moral lowground, they obviolusly are speking uninformed. One of the greatest mistakes a person can make is talking about something they have no idea about, so to this guy that I spoke of……kindly remove your head from your ass and spend a day in the gutter, if you still feel the same way, then I applaud you, otherwise, you're just making yourself out to be ignorant. 

I just don't understand what people do not understand about the word ILLEGAL. I say again: as long as we allow people to enter this country legally then there is no reason to do it illegally unless you are up to no good. And if all the illegals were sent back, maybe they could organize and change thier own country for the better instead of trying to turn ours into the failure they came from. They spend an awful lot of money trying to get here, why not use that money to enter legally, or better yet, use it to better the squalor they live in. We really don;t need these people, how many americans are out of work, not on the unemployment roll, and therefore not counted as unemployed by staticitians who want to prove thier point based on the pre-determined slant of the people who are paying them. I am sorry thier lives are so terrible, but we are paying for it, in the drain on our health costs for one thing. But let's not go there at this time. Legality is my point. Come into the country legally and we will welcome you with open arms and help you all we can. Come in illegally and you are nothing but a criminal. And all coyotes (transporters of illegals for thousands of dollars apiece) should be shot on site.
