I have a question…. why, for God's sake does someone buy a Hummer for $100,000.00 and use it to go the grocery store?? This is a vehicle that is made to cross raging rivers, drive up one side of a mountain and down the other, but cannot go over a set of railroad tracks at more than 2 miles per hour. Someone missed the logic train.. And I really, really, really wish someone would explain this to me. I did ask a man at the grocery store why he bought one to use for grocery shopping and running the kids to the day care… he said, and i quote "because I can". I think this is simply really, really, really stupid.
Hell, you think they gonna fly over those rail lines and risk damaging their expensive paint jobs? A car that big, they wanna have a lot of kids or a lot of shopping.
oh please, these cars are made to climb mountains, to go over a set of railroad tracks should not be a problem, but i think they think they will blow a tire, which is ridiculous, the tracks are flat on the road, or mess up thier alignment. my point is if they cost that damn much money, they should be able to take a set of railroad tracks at the posted speed limit of 30 miles per hour. oh vanity, thy name in MAN
